A. Well, aside from the fact that Paul and Huckabee wouldn't run as Indies, here's what I think would happen under that setup: -- Nader would attract folks from the left not happy with their nominee. If it's Hillary, he could get a decent percentage. Maybe 6-8 percent. -- Huckabee, while popular with the religious right, would have little appeal for other voters. I'd guess 2-3 percent. -- Ron Paul, same deal as Hucktastic. He appeals to a small group of people and that percentage would be smaller in a national election. I'd say 2 percent tops. -- Bloomberg: Now that could be interesting. He has an "ala carte" view of politics, and is mostly a Republican with a moderate opinion on most social issues. Ironically enough, I think most people in… [cont.]
