Where should the back of my office computer face - the window or the wall?
Q. My office window is facing north. what is better for the eyes: to put the computer with its back facing the window meaning I am facing the window when using it, or with its back facing one of the walls so I am facing the wall when using it(?) I am not sure because of the light: when facing the window the screen gets less light because it is hiding a portion of the window plus the light is coming from behind it. On the other hand when facing the wall, won't there be glare from the screen due to the light? I guess my question is generally what is more recommended - to put with its back side facing a windoew or facing a wall(?) THANKS.

A. I would face it towards the wall. This is the way I have it, and its really not a bad glare (Your head & office chair will be blocking it mostly anyway), and its easier to see the screen. And the window won't be blocked so you can turn around and look outside!
