Should the late payment fee and interest charge be compounded monthly like the bank or tallyed at the end of the year? What charging practice do condo association use?? This is a serious question folks. Those qualified to answer please do. Thanks. Asked by taifdad - Wed Aug 5 00:16:49 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. It all depends on your Association. I know they are horrific to work with but you will need their association contracts to find out. When you purchased your condo your Realtor should have provided you with a packet of how the association "rules mighty over it's tenants". It's an entire packet that every buyer gets along with the disclosures during escrow. Hope this points you in the right direction. Good luck. Answered by voss m - Wed Aug 5 00:37:58 2009 Do I pay the landlord or the association? Q. The condo I live in is in foreclosure. My landlord insists that I must pay him rent until it is officially foreclosed. The condo association insists that due to an agreement between my landlord and the association and his lapse in payment, I must pay my rent to them. I am worried about the landlord evicting us and about the association barring our entry into the building. I have received threats regarding both. Who do I pay? Asked by opalaggie - Wed Feb 4 07:37:36 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. You pay the landlord. Paying the association is still not paying your rent. Your contract is with him, not them. They have a seperate contract with him, that you are not part of. Answered by Landlord - Wed Feb 4 10:07:03 2009 How do i 'answer' a foreclosure lien summons in florida?
Q. i was served with a summons for foreclosure lien from my condo association yesterday. it says i have 20 days to 'answer'. what does this mean? how do i go about answering? do i have to go to court or can i call the lawyer or association ans settle or make a payment plan? Asked by Olivia K - Wed Jan 14 09:07:17 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. Yes, this is a court date. And they mean it. Your answer is your legal argument for not paying them. You better have a good one too, otherwise they will win this. Include references to the actual laws you think justify your behavior. You really need an attorney though, they will have theirs. Otherwise just pay the freaking bill. They will not make up a payment plan, they already know how you handle payment plans, this is what got you here in the first place.
